“When my dog James was a puppy he was kicked out of obedience school because of his aggressive reactivity. He is now 10 years old. When we called around, we were turned away from the other training schools due to him being older and bite reactive to humans and dogs.

“My dog, Pepperoni, had a very tough life. He was a Thai street dog for the first 3-4 years of his life.
“He is scared of people (especially men) and will bite any stranger that tries to touch him.

Ty was great with him and had him taking food right from his hand within the first 20 minutes, which is more progress than he made with 10 sessions at another trainer.

“Sura Dog Training was so wonderful with our big guy, Hank, who has reactivity issues especially to other dogs. We were considering whether to rehome him but in the end didn’t want to pass off our problem on someone else, plus who knows what might happen if we didn’t stand up for him.
“We had good communication before our meeting, and then got tons of advice and irl demonstration of how to help us and our dog during our session. Answered bunches of questions and gave us real hope that we can conquer our fear of taking Hank anywhere he might be a problem around other dogs. It will require lots of time and work on our part, as they made very clear, but it is totally do-able.
